Between Nice and Cannes is the resort town of Antibes, known for two things: multi-million euro mega yachts and a labyrinthine old town surrounded by 16th century walls. The second largest city on the Côte d'Azur has a population of about 80,000 and has the largest marina in the Mediterranean, Port Vauban. It has attracted a wide variety of vessels since long before Roman times.
