The Television Academy and Fox made the announcement on Aug. 10, CNN reports.
The 75th Emmy Awards, which were previously scheduled to take place in September, will now air on Jan. 15, which is also Martin Luther King Jr. Day. .
As the Emmy Awards celebrates its 75th Anniversary, the show will broadcast live on FOX coast-to-coast from the Peacock Theater at LA Live.., Fox, via press release.
