Dairo Antonio Usuga, one of Colombia's most notorious drug lords, was sentenced to 45 years in prison by a US federal judge. Usuga, known as 'Otoniel', was extradited to the US last year, and pleaded guilty to cocaine trafficking charges earlier this year. He was the leader of Colombia's most powerful gang, the Clan del Golfo, or Gulf Clan.
