Niger closes airspace due to intervention threat

Niger's coup leaders have shut down the national airspace because they fear outside intervention. The ruling group is ignoring a deadline from the West African bloc ECOWAS, which demanded the return of President Mohamed Bazoum, who was elected democratically. If they don't comply, military action might be taken.
