Leeds Pride 2023: Watch the parade highlights
West Yorkshire city is transformed into a rainbow in the 'biggest and best yet' Pride. What’s thought to be one of the biggest ever Leeds Pride events took place today as the city turned all the colours of rainbow to celebrate our LGBTQ+ community.

00:22 a bit of a club kid, a bit of an art, a bit of a clown basically.
00:25 And how excited are you about Pride?
00:27 Oh I love it, I absolutely love Leeds Pride, it brings everybody together,
00:31 everyone has such a great time and it's just such a variety of people,
00:34 like I just love it, I adore it, I'm so excited to be on the floor and see everybody as well,

03:56 So it's been almost an hour of a fabulous Pride parade as it passes Leeds City Art Gallery just now
04:06 and oh my gosh the atmosphere is absolutely electric, people dancing, we're partying together,
04:13 people of all ages, all backgrounds coming together.
04:18 We've got Let's Dance for Northern Ballet, we've had the West York Fire Service,
04:24 I see somebody dancing in the crowd there.

04:29 We've got the universities, different businesses, Santan there, all sorts going on here
04:35 and the party has only just begun.
04:38 This is just the start to what will be an epic and colourful day.
