YOUM-E-SHUHADAE POLICE OBSERVED BY SECURITY DIVISION, SINDH POLICE WITH ZEAL & ZEST; DIG S&ESD LAID FLORAL WREATH AT THE MARTYRS' MEMORIAL
On the occasion of Youm-e-Shuhadae Police, the foremost ceremony held by Security Division at SSU headquarters to pay tribute to the martyrs, wherein, DIG Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed, Commandant SSU Dr. Farrukh Ali, SSP Madadgar-15 Amjad Hayat, SP SSU Capt. ®️ Faizan Ali, SP SSU Anir Haider, SP SSU Farah Ambreen, SP Security II Syed Salman Husnain, SP Security-I Malik Asghar Usman, senior officers and police personnel of Security & Emergency Services Division paid exemplary homage to the martyrs of Sindh Police who sacrificed their lives to safeguard country and lives of citizens.
A special contingent of SSU Commandos presented guard of honor to the martyrs. DIG Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed laid floral wreath at the martyrs’ memorial and offered Fateha.
DIG Security also paid visit to the martyrs’ memorials situated at Security-I, Security-II, Madadgar-15 (Muhafiz) and Court Police to pay tribute to the martyrs of the unit and laid floral wreaths.
DIG Security Dr. Maqsood Ahmed attended an event organized by National Police Forum at Karachi Arts Council as the chief guest.
On the occasion, DIG Security Dr. Maqsood Ahmed said that the Shuhadae of Sindh Police laid their lives to restore peace and secure lives of citizens in the war against terrorism along with other security institutions. This day reminds us of these fallen heroes and our commitment to establish rule of law. We are ready to fight terrorism and culprits and lay our lives in line of duty.
Later, candles were also lit in the memory of martyrs on the occasion of Youm-e-Shuhadae Police at SSU headquarters.
