The Queensland government has released plans to increase supply of houses amid a growing population

Nearly a million new homes will be built in southeast Queensland under a plan to accommodate a rapidly growing population. With six million people forecast to live in the region by 20-46 the state governments released its blueprint for unlocking housing supply. It means councils will have to amend their planning laws but not everyone's on board.
