Death anniversary of APJ Abdul Kalam is observed on July 27. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam passed away on July 27, 2015. Kalam, who was the 11th President of India died due to cardiac arrest while delivering a lecture at the Indian Institute of Management, Shillong. APJ Abdul Kalam’s funeral was conducted in Rameswaram, where he was buried with full state honours. APJ Abdul Kalam was known as the 'People's President' and ‘Missile Man of India’.
