00:24 Oh, and be sure to stick around until number 1 for a place that's not only incredibly
00:29 beautiful to see, but creates perhaps the most beautiful natural sound on earth.
00:35 Strap in and let's get started.
00:38 Number 9.
00:39 Tunnel of Love, Ukraine.
00:42 This green leafy tunnel looks like something out of a fairy tale, but in reality, it's
00:47 a section of industrial railway in Klevin, Ukraine.
00:51 To no surprise, it's known for being a favorite place for couples to take a romantic morning
00:55 or evening stroll.
00:57 So if you're planning to surprise your loved one on Valentine's Day, you could ditch the
01:02 usual trip to Disneyland and instead book a trip to Ukraine.
01:06 If you're traveling to see one of the weirdest places in the world, the mysticism of the
01:10 Tunnel of Love won't disappoint you.
01:12 But you won't be disappointed by the rest of what Ukraine has to offer either, especially
01:16 if it's natural beauty you're after.
01:19 How do you get here?
01:20 You fly to Ukraine of course, and then take the train to Ravine.
01:24 Once you get to Ravine train station, you'll be able to see the tunnel.
01:29 Number 8.
01:30 Iguazu Falls, Brazil.
01:33 If cascading waterfalls mesmerize you, a visit to this beautiful destination could almost
01:40 literally blow you away.
01:43 But not just because of its beauty.
01:45 Believe it or not, Iguazu Falls is one of the wildest waterfalls in the world and quite
01:51 literally blows Niagara Falls out of the water.
01:54 Iguazu Falls stretch in width for an incredible 1.7 miles, and their height varies between
02:00 200 and 269 feet, making them both taller than Niagara Falls and twice as wide.
02:07 The power of Iguazu Falls was not utilized until the construction of Itapu Dam in 1991,
02:13 built together by Paraguay and Brazil.
02:16 The falls are a bus or taxi ride away from both Buenos Aires, Argentina and Rio, Brazil.
02:22 So hop on a ride and get over there to be blown away by its beauty.

02:46 Now, back to the video.
02:48 Number 7.
02:50 Travertine Pools, Cotton Castle, Turkey
02:54 This magical place in Turkey is an awe-inspiring sight that's well worth the trip.
02:59 What's been dubbed as the Cotton Castle is a group of small pools that are the result
03:04 of calcium carbonate deposits.
03:06 It may look cold, but these pools are actually filled with warm water, fed by a natural underground
03:12 spring.
03:13 The hotels built in the area in the 1960s were actually demolished as they were draining
03:18 the thermal waters into their swimming pools and causing damage to the terraces.
03:23 The terraces are immensely famous among locals and tourists for the carbonate mineral left
03:28 by flowing water, which creates hard travertine rock that looks soft as cotton.
03:33 Hence the nickname, Cotton Castle.
03:37 Number 6.
03:38 The Wave, Arizona
03:41 Here's one wave you cannot ride on your surfboard.
03:44 The Wave is actually a sandstone rock formation located near the northern border of Arizona
03:49 with Utah.
03:51 The canyon rocks in this area are said to be from the Jurassic era, and there's nothing
03:56 quite like them in our world today.
03:58 The rock formations create a dreamlike world of swirling colors and psychedelic patterns
04:03 that look wavy as heck.
04:05 To preserve the natural beauty and integrity of this natural site, there is actually no
04:10 signage for hikers.
04:12 So once you've flown to Arizona and trekked your way there, you'll need to find your own
04:17 way in and out of this wavy site.
04:19 Who's up for the challenge?
04:21 Number 5.
04:24 Mount Verama, Venezuela
04:27 If this place isn't heaven on earth, we don't know what is.
04:31 This enormous surreal flat-top mountain soaring above the clouds is known as Mount Ryoma and
04:37 is said to be one of the most mysterious places on earth.
04:40 With an abundance of unusual plants and animals you'll find nowhere else on the planet, you
04:45 really are in one of the weirdest places on earth, or perhaps on a completely different
04:50 planet.
04:53 Mount Ryoma is also the highest mountain in the Pacarema chain and the highest point in
04:57 Venezuela, which might explain why it feels like we're in God's kingdom up here.
05:04 The mountain's highest point is named as Liberantos del Norte, and yes, you can hire a tour guide
05:10 and trek these mountains while marveling at their natural wonders.
05:15 Number 4.
05:16 Fingal's Cave, Scotland
05:19 As a rule of thumb, caves are somewhat round in shape, right?
05:23 Well this cave begs to differ.
05:26 Take a look at this symmetrical square cave situated on the uninhabited islands of Staffa
05:32 in Scotland.
05:34 Its hexagonal columns formed as the result of cooling of lava on the upper and lower
05:39 surfaces, which solidified and fracturing into the symmetrical wonder you see it as
05:45 today.
05:47 People don't usually visit Fingal's Cave except for researchers and scientists, but you can
05:52 at least admire its mystery and beauty in this video.
05:56 While the cave has a large entrance, it is often filled with seawater, another reason
06:00 why most people tend not to visit.
06:05 Number 3.
06:06 Marble Caverns, Chile
06:09 If Fingal's Cave blew your brains out of the water, you best hold tight for the Marble
06:13 Caverns of Chile.
06:16 Off the coast of Puerto Tranquilo on Carrera Lake, water has eroded these calcium carbonate
06:21 cliffs to create the highly unusual and beautiful cave system you see right here.
06:27 Not only do the Marble Caverns have amazingly smooth and cool caves of marble, but the water
06:33 is clear enough to see deep down to the bottom.
06:37 The unusual geological formation is often also referred to as the Marble Chapel or Marble
06:42 Cathedral due to its dome-shaped ceilings and pillars.
06:46 If you want to see a place that is both beautiful and out of this world, hop on a ferry and
06:51 take a trip to these unusual marble formations, and be sure to bring your camera.
06:59 Number 2.
07:00 Satsar Mala Lakes, Pakistan
07:04 What could possibly be more jaw-dropping than one beautiful lake?
07:08 Seven beautiful lakes of course!
07:09 The Satsar Lakes, which literally translates to the Seven Lakes in English, consists of,
07:16 yup, you guessed it, seven small alpine lakes situated in the Khangan Valley, in the magnificent
07:23 Masarad district of Azad Kashmir, Pakistan.
07:27 Popularly known as the Paradise on Earth, Azad Kashmir is world famous for its scenic
07:33 splendor snow-capped mountains, plentiful wildlife, exquisite monuments, hospitable
07:40 people and local handicrafts.
07:43 The Satsar Lake is mainly fed by melting snow.
07:46 During the late summer and autumn, two or three of the seven lakes usually dry up depending
07:51 upon the precipitation.
07:54 These breathtaking lakes give rise to a stream which disappears and flows underground.
07:59 From the side by glacier, a stream originates and flows down southwards and falls into Neelam
08:05 River.

08:23 Number 1.
08:24 Bamboo Path, Japan.
08:27 The sound of swaying bamboo stalks in this stunning grove is so intriguing.
08:32 It has been named a governmentally recognized sound.
08:38 Standing tall on the edges of Kyoto, Japan, the Sagano Bamboo Forest is a once meditative
08:45 nature spot that is now a series of tourist-packed pathways.
08:50 But if you can escape the sounds of camera shutters and boorish visitors, you'll hear
08:54 the rustling, creaking and swaying of Japan's natural soundscape.
08:59 Kyoto was once the old capital of Japan before Tokyo took over, but its ancient city walls
09:05 still stand next to modern buildings.
09:07 Kyoto City is in fact a huge tech hub and home to gaming companies like Nintendo, but
09:13 the towering bamboo forest is an almost shocking contrast to the urbanity surrounding it.
09:20 Wooden paths weave through the dense thicket of tall bamboo stalks that reach dozens of
09:25 feet into the sky, creating a canopy.
09:29 As the wind passes through the tightly packed plants, the wood bends and creaks, the leaves
09:34 rustle, and the trunks knock together, creating a peaceful sound like almost nothing else,
09:41 that is, when the hordes of tourists aren't drowning it out.
09:45 If you're after beauty for both eyes and ears, this place deserves a spot on your bucket
09:50 list.
09:51 And those were the most unbelievably beautiful places in the world.
09:57 Do you agree with our list?
