Ex Premier League star Shaka Hislop has given concerned fans an update on his health after his shock collapse live-on air.

The former goalkeeper was see wobbling, before falling forward into host Dan Thomas, during ESPN’s coverage of a pre-season friendly between Real Madrid and AC Milan.

Shaka took to Twitter, stating he had found the whole situation “awkward”, but thanked everyone who had helped and supported him. Shaka said: “My response now has to be to seek out the best medical opinion I can get and listen to what my doctors have to say.”
