Tokarev is a 2014 action/thriller/crime film directed by Paco Cabezas starring Nicolas Cage.

Synopsis: After a past full of crime, Paul McGuire is now a successful man, works in construction and lives happily with his wife Vanessa and their sixteen year old daughter Caitlin. Soon, however, the past seems to come knocking on his door.
One evening Paul and Vanessa decide to go out for dinner while their daughter stays at home with friends Mike and Evan. However, the young woman is kidnapped and her friends are injured. Paul discovers that three criminals broke into the house and kidnapped his daughter.
Unfortunately, the girl's lifeless body will soon be found in a park. Caitlin's death was caused by a shot fired from a Russian Tokarev pistol. Paul will thus go back in his memories trying to avenge his daughter.
In the end, it turns out that the daughter died in an accident: one of her friends, while handling a gun found in the house, accidentally shoots her, hitting her in the head, killing her and, seized by fear, proceeds with the other to bury the body nearby and to invent the story of the break-in.
