Taylor Swift fans have singalong on delayed flight

A plane-load of Taylor Swift fans had a singalong on their delayed flight - after an attendant noticed them all wearing merch.

Staff told passengers to close the window shades and turn on their phone flashlights and blasted 'Love Story' through the intercom.

Student Hannah Hazlett, 19, was travelling from Denver, Colorado to Salt Lake City, Utah after seeing Taylor Swift the night before.

The plane was chock-a-block with Swiftie fans from Utah after the artist did not have a show in Salt Lake City and fans made their way to Denver.

Hannah said: "The flight attendant noticed that we were all wearing our Taylor Swift merch - from the concert the night before - and we had a baggage delay.

"She said to close our windows and turn on our lights and started playing this and everyone started singing!"

Hannah said nearly all the passengers on the plane were singing.

"I would say about 90% [were singing] of the plane! Maybe even more!

"I did not see anybody that was not singing.

"My mom, who was sitting a few rows back from me, said that there was an older couple sitting by her that didn’t know what was going on.

"I would imagine there are a couple of other people that were against it as well."

The footage was captured on July 17.
