Domestic indices set new highs at the end of the weekly F&O expiry session. The new 52-week high for the NSE Nifty 50 is 19,991.85, barely 9 points shy of 20,000. The 30-share Sensex has a new record high of 67,619.17, while the Bank Nifty has an all-time high of 46,256.20. Meanwhile, the NSE Nifty 50 gained 146 points, or 0.74%, to close at 19,979.15 today, while the BSE Sensex gained 474.46 points, or 0.71%, to conclude at 67,571.90. Bank Nifty increased 517.60 points or 1.13% to 46,186.90, Nifty Financial Services advanced 1.02%, Nifty FMCG advanced 1.35%, Nifty Pharma advanced 1.46%, and Nifty IT lost 0.66%. ITC, Kotak Bank, ICICI Bank, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, and Grasim were the top gainers on the Nifty 50, while Infosys and UltraTech were the top losers.
