Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “It is very sad and painful that so many families have to face such a tragedy suddenly. May the departed soul rest in peace and the bereaved families get the strength to bear the loss. Six of the injured were shifted to AIIMS Rishikesh and I met them last evening.

Their treatment is going on well...People admitted here are being given primary medical aid and then they too will be shifted to AIIMS Rishikesh. I have ordered a magisterial probe and the guilty will be punished. PM has taken cognisance of this incident.

The PM and HM have told us to provide all possible help and all kinds of compensation.”
