Arsenal's £65m Signing Kai Havertz Scores NONE of His 14 Shots in MLS All-Star Skills Cross

Arsenal's Kai Havertz set a poor mark in one area of the MLS All-Star Skills Challenge that has Chelsea fans mocking their former star forward.

Havertz became the first person in the short history of the event to never score a single point in the cross-then-volley challenge.

As a result of both his poor form - and the struggles Folarin Balogun had - Arsenal lost in that particular event.

While some Arsenal fans were left upset over the poor form of their new talisman, other football fans laughed at their misfortune.

That included Chelsea fans, who were joyful after their club sold him for £ 65 million this summer.

'Kai Havertz setting the world ablaze with his finishing', wrote one Chelsea fan followed by several laughing emojis.

Another couldn't believe the money they got for the German, adding: 'We got £65m for Havertz', again, followed by several laughing emojis.

Arsenal fans were split, with some saying that it didn't matter and others left concerned with the display.

'It's not looking good honestly,' wrote one Gunners supporter. 'I'm already getting livid, especially after buying him for that amount. Let's hope he comes good.'

Another Arsenal fan joked, 'We ordered the wrong Kai Havertz online.'

'Now I understand why Mikel Arteta said Havertz will be playing in the midfield this season,' yet another fan wrote.

Others laughed at his misfortunate of setting the unwanted record in the competition.

One Twitter user said: '£65m Havertz becomes the first player to NOT score in the cross and volley challenge at an MLS all-star skills competition lmao'.

ESPN's Herculez Gomez tried to bring some perspective into the situation, saying, 'Champions League Final winning goal. World Cup goals. Eff the memes. Remember that.'

Arsenal will be showing a more complete picture of what they're capable of on Wednesday night in the MLS All-Star Game.

From there, they move on to play Manchester United at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey before wrapping up their preseason USA tour against Barcelona in Los Angeles.
