They are shy, playful and cute. But it is their meat, scales and claws that make pangolins the most trafficked mammals in the world. But here in Taiwan, the indigenous Taiwanese or Formosan pangolins are protected by law in hopes of saving them from the fate of their relatives in other parts of the world.
