The company aims to unravel the mysteries of the universe, exploring the mathematics of deep learning and striving to develop a comprehensive theory for large neural networks. The xAI team comprises former employees from notable organizations like DeepMind, OpenAI, Google Research, Microsoft Research, Twitter, and Tesla, who have contributed to significant projects, including DeepMind's AlphaCode and OpenAI's GPT-3.5 and GPT-4 chatbots. Reports are suggesting his acquisition of GPU processors from Nvidia to support a large language model for xAI potentially. Incorporated in Nevada in March, xAI has emphasized its distinction from X Corp. (Twitter), while affirming its intention to collaborate closely with X (Twitter), Tesla, and other companies to advance its mission.
