The latest comedy blockbuster, “Joy Ride,” from director and co-writer Adele Lim, stars Hsu, Ashley Park, Sherry Cola and Sabrina Wu, as a group of friends who travel around Asia for a “once-in-a-lifetime” adventure.
Throughout the film, the four characters explore their roots and identities, as they travel through Shanghai, Beijing and Seoul. While the group is seen globe-trotting throughout the entire film, in actuality the production never left the city lines of Vancouver.
