ಲ್ಯಾಂಡರ್ ಮಾಡ್ಯೂಲ್, ಪ್ರೊಪಲ್ಷನ್ ಮಾಡ್ಯೂಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೋವರ್ ಅನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಮಿಷನ್ ಅನ್ನ ಎಲ್‌ವಿಎಂ3 ಎಂ4 ಮೂಲಕ ಉಡಾವಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರೊಪಲ್ಷನ್ ಮಾಡ್ಯೂಲ್ ಚಂದ್ರನ ಕಕ್ಷೆಯ 100 ಕಿಮೀ ವರೆಗೆ ಲ್ಯಾಂಡರ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೋವರ್ ಅನ್ನು ಒಯ್ಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಪ್ರೊಪಲ್ಷನ್ ಮಾಡ್ಯೂಲ್ ಸ್ಪೆಕ್ಟ್ರೋ-ಪೋಲಾರಿಮೆಟ್ರಿ ಆಫ್ ಹ್ಯಾಬಿಟಬಲ್ ಪ್ಲಾನೆಟ್ ಅರ್ಥ್ ಪೇಲೋಡ್ ಅನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.The Chandrayaan 3 mission was designed to "demonstrate capability for safe landing and roving on the lunar surface".
The mission, which carries the lander module, propulsion module and rover, is being launched by the LVM3 M4.
The propulsion module carries the lander and rover up to 100 km of lunar orbit. The Propulsion Module carries the Spectro-Polarimetry of Habitable Planet Earth payload.
