Diving The Dampier Archipelago SOLO!

My life since moving to the Pilbara has been nothing but spectacular, and I think I've finally found a place where I feel at 'home', but there's just one big problem. None of my close friends here share the same passion for fishing and now more particularly, spearfishing, as I do!

I've been taking a bit of a break from YouTube and the pressure of being both in front of, and behind a camera, and I thought I'd let you know why with this video. I'm the happiest I've been in years, in a place I feel comfortable, and every day that I wake up feels good, so I have just been wanting to enjoy that for a little longer before I get stuck back into things again.

As I explain and show in the video, I've recently taken up spearfishing as a hobby, and well, my problem is that when I find something I love, it really begins to consume me; but who will complain of a constant diet of 5-star fish, right?

But what I really need now, is to find a hand full of people who live near to me, that share those same interests and want to share these experiences with me. I'm not the best free-diver or spears, but I LOVE it, and I'm going to keep at it until I'm pretty darn good. The number one rule across the board when it comes to diving seems to be to, never do it alone.
Except, when you've got no one to do it with, do you choose sitting on the couch at home instead? I don't!
