American guitarist and singer-songwriter Al Anderson is probably best known for his militancy with roots rock renegades NRBQ with whom he recorded for 22 years. In 1973 he released his debut self-titled album, featuring his bandmate from NRBQ Tom Staley and Terry Adams and bassist Al Lepak from Wildweeds (Anderson's first band). The album is a collection of relaxed country rock songs with Anderson on vocals, guitar and electric piano.

Terry Adams - piano.
Donn Adams - trombone.
Jeff Potter - harmonica.
Al Lepak - bass.
Tom Staley - drums, percussion.

Be my woman tonight.
We'll make love.
Ain't no woman finer lookin'.
You're just laughin' inside.
I don't believe I'll stay here anymore.
Honky tonkin'.
Goin' back to Indiana.
Don't hold the line.
I just want to have you back again.
I haven't got the strength to carry on.
