'Love the Philippines' stays as new tourism slogan | Politics as usual

It was supposed to promote the country as a premier tourist destination but the government's new slogan "Love the Philippines," got flak for allowing an ad agency to use stock videos of other countries in its presentation.

A former tourism secretary is calling for accountability, while a lawmaker seeks a congressional inquiry on the matter to help the Tourism Department move forward from the debacle.

Despite the criticisms, the "Love the Philippines" slogan is apparently here to stay.
