MAGIC Dad Makes Daughters DREAM Come True at Talent Show
As a parent, have you ever wanted to make your child's dream a reality? In this amazing video, I use a little bit of magic to make my daughter's wish come true at a talent show. So this happened, at our first summer Holiday post lockdown in Great Yarmouth we reluctantly entered the @ParkdeanresortsUk Breydon Water talent competition (Jasmine wanted to do handstands but to save her embarrassment we decided on a card trick with magic dad)
We won our heat performing an amazing card trick then got invited back a month later for a free weekend stay and WON the parks regional final for 2021!
Following this we got invited to the Talent Nation FINAL at Southview Holiday Park, Skegness to compete against 62 other UK park finalists, finally making it through to the final 12 performing in the star studded grand final!!
The grand final weekend was a celebration of some of Britain's best talent, featuring celebrity performances and talent master classes from stars who have all featured on Britain's best loved TV talent shows including Britain's Got Talent, Strictly Come Dancing and the The X Factor.
Sadly we didn't get crowned talent Nation Winner 2021 however from 4000 entrants across the UK and some very kind and supportive words from the celebrity judges we were very proud to had the opportunity to perform at the grand final.
The grand final was hosted by tv celebrity @OfficialVernonKay who also treated us all to an amazing late night DJ set after the show!
British comedian and ventriloquist (and not to mention winner of America's Got Talent!), @PaulZerdin kicked off the weekend with his hilariously funny ventriloquist act featuring his most loved dysfunctional puppet family.
@milkshakeon5 presenter Derek Moran and the Troupers ran a singing, arts and crafts morning including a Bop Box Boogie!
James Jordan @JamesandOla Strictly Come Dancing pro dancer and winner of Dancing on Ice 2019, gave a professional dance class to be remembered and when we met him the following morning at a meet and greet gave us extremely positive feedback on our act (secretly he had us down as the winner!)
The talent show ended with a live performance from @leeryan9148 , best known for his time singing with world renowned boy band, Blue. His blend of feel-good floor-fillers and tear-jerking ballads sent everyone off into the night with memories to cherish forever. All rise? You bet! ... Upon meeting Lee the following morning he too congratulated us on an amazingly emotional performance!
Other judges (and performers after the main talent show) included stars from Britain's Got Talent; dance group Flawless and Ashleigh and her dog Sully.
