The Secretary of State opening proceedings at an LGBT reception at Stormont by announcing that his plans for UN-based compulsory sex education plans for Northern Ireland had been voted through the House of Commons.
The plans have been praised by the NI Human Rights Commission and the NSPCC but strongly opposed by all the major churches in Northern Ireland, the DUP and a House of Lords legislative scrutiny committee.
