Masts Break In Sailboat Race

: "This spectacular collision took place during the Sopot Match Race regatta held in the city of Sopot in Poland. A match race is a race between two competitors, going head-to-head. Both teams were very experienced sailors and Przemyslaw Tarnacki Team, Audi boat, won the whole regatta. No sailors were hurt besides one broken finger on the Bavaria boat. Mast was fixed during the night and the boat was in racing mode the next day. Conditions this day gusty offshore wind up to 27 knots."
