We've been following the extremely slow progress for some homeowners in northern New South Wales settling with the government under a home buyback scheme. There's growing uncertainty around how many homes are eligible for the 700-million-dollar program jointly funded by the state and federal governments. Just one per cent of impacted homeowners have reached settlement.
