Emmeline is the child of a wealthy museum owner and his wife, and both they and their servants always seem to be too busy to pay any attention to her. One day, Emmeline decides to wish upon a star for someone to be her friend. Her wish comes true, but it doesn't take long for this blessing to become a curse.
