Om Raut’s mythological drama Adipurush has sparked a fresh debate in India. Citing movie’s “pedestrian dialogues,” Shiv Sena UBT leader Priyanka Chaturvedi sought public apology from filmmakers.

Meanwhile, Adipurush’s ‘inappropriate’ dialogues and ‘weak’ visual effects have triggered a meme fest on Twitter. From lampooning graphics to cancelling tickets, various Twitter users took to the micro-blogging site to criticise the movie.

However, Adipurush dialogue writer Manoj Muntashir has still not given any justification and continues to celebrate film’s ‘divine victory’.
Helmed by Om Raut, and Produced by Bhushan Kumar, the film is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana and features Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan.

The movie is released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages.
