Poor fella. What an awful start to life. He had been thrown away by someone a few days earlier. He wasn't even able to walk and I think was close to the end. The puppy - Barry was so defensive...his trust in humans shot and he even used his last ounce of energy to try and scare me off. Barry didn't trust me and who can blame him. I scooped him up and took him to the vet...
