FDA warns public against purchasing Lato Lato toys

Vendors sell lato lato, or cracker toys, in Divisoria Manila on June 16, 2023. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) warns the public against purchasing and using the unnotified toy and childcare article (TCCA) product, "Lato Lato Toys with Handle Glow in the Dark Latto Latto Toy Toy Tok Tok Old School Toy Etek Toy Lato Lato Makasar," which can be bought in an online store.

The product was verified by the FDA through postmarketing surveillance and shows no valid Certificate of Product Notification (CPN) as of June 5, 2023. (MB Video by Juan Carlo de Vela)
