CRPF deploys special dog squad ahead of Amarnath Yatra

The 137th Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is taking all possible steps to beef up the security measures ahead of the Amarnath Yatra. CRPF’s Special Dog Squad has been deployed in various locations of Udhampur district to ensure the smooth conduct of the Yatra.

“We are deployed here for the safety of the pilgrims during the Amarnath Yatra. There is nothing to fear for the pilgrims. We are working here with promptness,” said, CRPF Commandant of the 137th Battalion Ramesh Kumar.

The annual pilgrimage to the holy cave shrine of Lord Shiva in the south Kashmir Himalayas will commence on July 1 and will conclude on August 31.
