Hearing into Wieambilla police shooting begins in Brisbane

The Brisbane coroners court has heard two police officers were gunned down without warning within minutes of attending a western downs property last December. Constables Rachel McCrow and Matthew Arnold were shot dead at a remote Wieambilla farm, along with local man Alan Dare. A pre-inquest hearing has heard the were met with heavy gun fire from residents Nathaniel, Gareth, and Stacey Train later described as religiously motivated extremists.
