The 2024 Land Rover Discovery Sport has been updated with a choice of seven seats and a new display.
Land Rover has updated the Discovery Sport for the 2024 model year. While the automaker redesigns the center console and instrument cluster, it continues to offer a third-row option that increases seating to seven passengers, key changes lurk inside the familiar-looking crossover.
The 2024 Discovery Sport features a new curved 11.4-inch touchscreen display running the latest Pivi Pro system. Amazon Alex comes standard with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration. A new display with increased functionality and a redesigned gear selector allowed Land Rover to completely reshape the layout and install ample dashboard storage. Standard features include wireless charging, a digital instrument cluster, and steering wheel-mounted shifters.
Land Rover boasts that Discovery Sport has 24 possible seat configurations. The second row seats can slide and recline and are split in a 40:20:40 ratio. The crossover offers 63.35 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded down.
Land Rover adds Varesine Blue to its exterior color palette. In addition to Santorini Black, Firenze Red, Eiger Grey, Hakuba Silver and Ostuni Pearl White as other premium paints at this price, $950 extra. The automaker also offers Carpathian Gray and Silicon Silver for an extra $1,550. Fuji White is free. The automaker also has optional new 21-inch high-gloss black alloys and 19-inch high-gloss black or diamond-turned wheels.
The 2024 Discovery Sport is available in two trim variants: S and Dynamic SE. The S features a new contrasting high-gloss black grille with a hexagonal motif, Indus Silver skid plates and body-coloured lower sills. Dynamic SE draws attention with its contrasting glossy black roof, lower body sills, lower bumper and lettering. Land Rover adds some sportiness with front bumper entry accents that look like claws.
The 2024 Discovery Sport S starts at $50,075 (all prices include a $1,175 destination fee). According to the currently available configurator, the cheapest three-row version costs $51,795, while the seven-seat option costs just $1,720 and is available without any other upgrades.
The Sport Dynamic SE starts at $54,275 for 2024 and can reach $68,435 with every available option selected. Upgrades include full-size spares ($400), red brake calipers ($425), 21-inch gloss black wheels ($1,650), and various packages including the Dynamic Handling Pack ($1,600), Tech Pack ($1,450), Comfort. Package ($580), Towing Package 2 ($1,050) and Cold Weather Package ($890). A Meridian Surround sound system and titanium mesh skins add $450 and $400, respectively, to the price tag.
