Federal government shifts on key housing policy, but Greens remain opposed

The federal government has made a key concession on its centrepiece housing policy to try and garner crossbench support, offering a guaranteed $500 million yearly spend on housing. The Greens remain opposed, arguing a $2.5 billion yearly spend is needed.
