A toddler that waits for her big brother every day to get off the school bus will warm your heart.

The 18-month-old tot has waited for big brother every single day since she has been able to recognise the school bus six months ago.

Stay-at-home-mum Mandalina Cunmuljaj, 32, from New York captured the moment little Nora waited for her brother Aleksander, eight after school on March 23 outside their home.

Nora is seen running down the driveway as the yellow school bus is seen at the end of the road.

Eventually, Nora and Aleksander meet in the middle with a loving hug.

Mandalina said: "Nora started doing this when she turned one and was able to recognize the school bus.

"She does this because she is obsessed with her big brother and I think it is her way of showing him how much she missed him all day.

"We normally go outside five minutes before the bus comes and she has this reaction every day.

"It is the best part of our day.

"Each time she does it Aleksander has a huge smile on his face and is excited to come home because he knows his little sister is always waiting for him.

"It melts our hearts to see the very special bond they have together, it is the most beautiful & purest love we’ve ever known.

"All of our family and friends are pleasantly surprised by how close they are despite the age gap they have."
