The music venue and pub, The 13th Note, has been closed by environmental health due to a mouse infestation.

The business was issued a remedial action notice by the council which said it had inadequate pest control procedures and “mouse droppings were found throughout the premise”.

The owner said she is acting on recommendations and hopes to reopen within a week.

Next, a Glasgow care home has fell into liquidation meaning dozens of residents will need to be relocated.

The company behind Hogganfield Loch Care Centre on Royston Road confirmed that administers had been appointed after a sharp drop in occupants.

Glasgow’s Health and Social Care Partnership is engaging with the families of residents.
