Uruguay U-20 managed to advance to the quarter-finals of the U-20 World Cup after narrowly winning 1 nil over Gambia, Friday (2/6/23). The match was hot and the match referee, Francois Letexier, issued 2 red cards for each team. A new goal was created in the second half to be precise in the 65th minute through Anderson Duarte's action. Until the match was over there were no more goals scored. Uruguay advanced to the quarter-finals of the U-20 World Cup and will face the United States.
