Where to watch the FA Cup final in Manchester’s pubs & bars and what’s on in the city this weekend

The first Manchester derby FA cup final is almost here.
On June 3, Manchester United and Manchester City will be going head-to-head to fight for the trophy at Wembley.
The game will kick off at 3pm in London, but many local fans may wonder where our city's best spots to watch the match are.
We have compiled a list of the best places to soak in the atmosphere, grab a drink or a bite to eat and watch the historic final:
Bars in the Northern Quarter can be a popular spot when the football is on - particularly on derby days - so why not head to Tib Street Tavern on Tib Street, renowned for its beers and food, and of course excellent atmosphere. Tib Street Tavern has two floors to spread out on, as well as a sports-free area if you're interested in taking a break from the onscreen action.
Another Northern Quarter bar which will be offering an excellent viewing experience is Dive Bar and Grill. The venue focuses on American style food, and with 15 screens across the bar, there's plenty of space to keep up-to-date with the match.
Sports bars across the city will also be screening the football - including Box on Deansgate and The Director's Box. These bars have a selection of beers, gins and cocktails and serve some delicious hot food such as pizzas, burgers and small plates to satisfy your hunger throughout the afternoon.
Also on Deansgate is The Sawyer's Arms, one of Manchester's most historic pubs. The Grade II listed building has been used as a pub since the 1700s and is the perfect place to watch history unfold onscreen. The Sawyer's Arms is known for its range of real ales and traditional pub grub, so why not head down early on the day as seats tend to fill up fast.
GRUB is Manchester's biggest street food venue and is not far from the AO Arena and Victoria Station. Bookings are still open for the FA cup final streaming and tickets cost £5 and include a £5 drinks token to use at the bar.
The Printworks will also be showing the game at O'Neill's, Yates, Walkabout, and the newest spot to open at the venue, Boom Battle Bar.
Outside of the city centre, Cafe Football in Old Trafford will have the match playing on its 13 plasma screens. The restaurant and bar is a fun and relaxed environment just a short journey away from Manchester United's Old Trafford Stadium.
If football isn't your thing, plenty of other things are happening in our city this weekend. There are performances from Elton John, Lizzie McAlpine, Arctic Monkeys and Coldplay taking place across the music venues - although these events may be sold out if you don't already have a ticket.
The city's collection of museums are always full of activity.

If nature is more your thing, the good weather this weekend might make taking a beautiful walk in Chorlton Ees or visiting a national trust sight even more appealing.
