Explanation regarding the entry of two non-Muslim women into the outer courtyard of Masjid Nabawi
The administration of Masjid Nabawi has said that on Tuesday, two foreign and non-Muslim women entered the outer courtyard of Masjid Nabawi by mistake and were stopped by security personnel.
According to the Sekab website, the administration has explained the video that went viral on social media and said that "the women in question did not wear appropriate clothes for the holy place."
The said non-Muslim Western women entered the outer courtyard of Masjid Nabawi by mistake.
"They had no idea that they were not allowed to enter the place, nor did they know that it was a sacred place that required proper dressing."

The management has said that 'when they were informed about the situation, they apologized for the mistake and went back thanking them.'

"In order not to make such a mistake in the future, the administration will clarify the sanctity of the holy places by conducting an awareness campaign among foreign tourists."

According to the Masjid Nabawi administration, "no minute will be spared to ensure the sanctity of Masjid Nabawi and to serve the pilgrims".
