A WALK HELD IN CONNECTION WITH YOUM-E-TAKREEM SHUHADA-E-PAKISTAN AT SEA VIEW; DIG SECURITY DR.MAQSOOD AHMED PARTICIPATED
On the occasion of Youm-e-Takreem-e-Shuhada-e-Pakistan and in order to pay rich tribute to the martyrs of law enforcement agencies, a rally-cum-walk was held at Sea View, Karachi.
DIG Security & Emergency Services Division Dr. Maqsood Ahmed accompanied by Commandant SSU Capt. ®️ Faizan Ali, senior police officers, a large number of SSU commandos and citizens took part in the rally and showed solidarity with the armed forces.
Moreover, a large number of teachers and students also participated in the rally and paid homage to the martyrs of law & enforcement agencies and Sindh Police who sacrificed their lives protecting the motherland and its people.
It is pertinent to mention that the nation is observing ‘Youm-e-Takreem Shuhada-e-Pakistan’ in remembrance of the courageous heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice and honour the determined spirit and unwavering dedication of the martyrs, hailing from the Pakistan Army, Rangers, Frontier Corps, Frontier Constabulary, Police, and other law enforcement agencies.
On the occasion, DIG Security Dr. Maqsood Ahmed said that the day has great importance to salute the sacrifices laid down by the martyrs in the line of duty. He told that blood of our martyrs has rooted deeply in this motherland, their sacrifices cannot be forgotten.
He further added that love for law & enforcement agencies in the hearts of the citizens cannot be diminished at any cost, it would remain forever, today’s a large number of participants in the walk is showing deep connection between the masses and law & enforcement agencies.
