00:00 Hey guys! Today's video is going to be a tutorial on this coppery, peachy kind of makeup look.
00:24 I was really excited, the weather is finally getting warmer where I live and I was wanting
00:30 to film a spring makeup tutorial. So I hope you guys enjoy it. Please let me know what
00:36 you think down below and let's go ahead and get started!
00:40 Okay, so first with clean hands I'm going to go in and apply the Rimmel Stay Matte Face
00:46 Primer all over my face and then I will put the Benefit Porefessional just right in the
00:51 areas on my nose and on my chin, in between my eyes where I have a little bit more of
00:57 noticeable pores.
01:01 Now I'm going to use my Maybelline Matte and Poreless Foundation in 125 Nude Beige and
01:15 I will apply it with my beauty blender.
01:33 Okay, so I've got one layer of my foundation on and while I think it looks okay, I think
01:50 I'm just going to go ahead and go in with one more layer and concentrate it in spots
01:54 that I need a little bit more coverage.
02:09 Alright so now that I've got my foundation on, I am going to conceal my under eye area
02:14 with the new from Maybelline, the Master Conceal by Face Studio Camouflaging Concealer in 20
02:22 and I'm just going to use the tapered end of my beauty blender to blend that in.
02:52 Next I'm going to take the Maybelline Matte and Poreless Fit Me Powder in the shade 130
02:57 Buff Beige and I'm going to use this with the Real Techniques Powder Brush to set my
03:03 foundation all over my face.
03:14 To set my under eye concealer, I'm going to use the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder in Translucent
03:20 with the Real Techniques Setting Brush.
03:33 I also like to take this, the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder on the Real Techniques Setting
03:37 Brush and since I get really oily in my nose area and on the sides of my nose, I like to
03:42 take this and press it really, really concentrated around my nose area to keep the shine away.
03:49 So now I'm going to go ahead and contour my face and my nose using the Bahama Mama Bronzer
04:01 from the Balm.
04:02 This is a completely matte bronzer and it's very, it's more of a gray cool tone so it's
04:09 perfect for contouring because it looks more of like more of a shadow on your face which
04:14 is what we are going for.
04:16 So I am going to use, I've talked about this before on my channel, that what I use to place
04:20 my contour is this little brush that looks like this.
04:24 You can find these that come with a lot of different powders or brushes, or blushes rather.
04:29 This one is from Tarte so it's got really soft bristles.
04:34 So what I'll do here is I'll take a little bit of this on the end of this brush, tap
04:42 the excess off, and then I will take this and cut in my contour right here, right in
04:48 the hollows of my cheekbones.
04:50 I like to angle it up and I really don't like to take it past this area because once it
04:55 starts to get close to your mouth it will start to look unnatural.
04:58 Again, I'll just carefully place here, angling up.
05:03 And then I will take the Real Techniques Blush Brush and I will hold it at the end so it
05:09 gives you kind of a nice loosely diffused look, and I'll take this and I'll start to
05:13 blend it up.
05:14 Again, you want to blend it at an angle and you want to blend it upwards towards the top
05:19 of your ear.
05:21 Alright, and now to contour my nose I'm going to use the Bahama Mama Bronzer again and first
05:32 I'm going to take the ELF Smudge Brush which just has these very short bristles and all
05:38 I use this one for again, I just get a little bit of the bronzer on the very end, make sure
05:43 to tap off the excess, and then I will take it like this and just cut in the contour just
05:54 at the very sides of my nose.
05:58 And I just do this to make sure that I'm applying it very carefully here.
06:10 And then for the rest of my nose contour I will take the ELF Professional Eye Blending
06:20 Brush and again I'll just take a little bit of the bronzer here and just dust this right
06:27 on the sides of my nose and be careful, you know, make sure you go up into your eye socket
06:34 to get a nice smooth line there.
06:37 Make sure to blend it out really well so it looks nice and natural.
06:44 I suppose as natural as contouring can look.
06:56 Now I'm going to take the Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso which is just one of my absolute
07:03 favorite blushes.
07:04 It's just the most beautiful, peachy, not too shimmery, there are like little flecks
07:09 in here but I don't find that they transfer very noticeably to the face.
07:14 This is just an absolutely beautiful blush, I think it looks good on everyone.
07:16 But I'm going to take my Eco Tools Blush Brush and I'm going to use it to just place my blush
07:26 right on the cheeks.
07:27 And then I'm going to use my Sonia Kashuk Blush Brush to kind of just go over it and
07:41 make sure it looks nice and soft and blended.
07:50 Next I'm going to take my Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer and go ahead and put it
07:56 on my eyelids.
08:06 While that eye primer dries, I'm going to work on my brows.
08:09 So first I'm going to go and run the Milani Brow Shaping Clear Wax just over my brows.
08:17 And then I'm going to use the Milani Brow Fix Brow Kit in Light to do my eyebrows using
08:30 a combination.
08:31 I usually take these two and mix them together, kind of go back and forth for the inner part
08:38 of my brows and then as I get out towards the tail end I like to focus a little bit
08:43 more with the darker shade.
08:59 I just use the little teeny angled brush that comes with this, which works really well.
09:11 My brow routine as of right now is nothing crazy.
09:13 I normally just start at the very inner part of my eyebrow and just kind of brush it through.
09:20 Then I'll take and do one kind of swoop across the top and a swoop across the bottom to kind
09:25 of outline it.
09:26 And then I'll just take more powder and go ahead and fill it in.
09:29 So nothing revolutionary, I like a really natural looking eyebrow.
09:34 I just find that this brow kit from Milani just really simplifies things.
09:38 It's even got a teeny little pair of tweezers in here so if while you're working you see
09:42 a stray hair you can grab it and get rid of it.
09:45 I love this stuff.
10:05 And for brows I'm going to take the ELF clear mascara for lash and brow and just run it
10:12 quickly through my eyebrows to blend them a little bit and to set them and make sure
10:17 they stay in place.
10:22 This stuff is $1.
10:24 I just got the L'Oreal in my haul video, I'll link it down below.
10:29 The tinted brow gel from L'Oreal that just came out that's supposed to be really good
10:33 but I've used this stuff for a while now and it can't beat a dollar.
10:37 It's just clear mascara, clear brow gel.
10:43 So before I start applying my shadow, something that I've been liking to do lately that seems
10:48 to make things blend easier is to take whatever is left on my Real Techniques setting brush
10:55 from my translucent powder by Rimmel.
10:58 So I'll just take whatever is left on here and then just dust it kind of all over my
11:05 eye area which will go ahead and set your eye primer and just the layer of translucent
11:12 powder just really helps things blend together nicely.
11:17 So some of the shadows that I'm going to be using today are from the Too Faced Chocolate
11:25 Bar palette.
11:26 So I'm going to take this kind of warm brown shade here first and I'm going to apply that
11:35 with the Sigma E25 in my crease.
11:55 I just use Sigma, this little brush from Sigma to place my crease shadow.
12:04 As you can see, one of my favorite techniques I guess that I use very frequently is that
12:08 I will use one brush to apply a product and then another brush to blend it out.
12:17 Alright, and then to blend that out I'm going to take the Sigma tapered blending brush,
12:26 the E40, and then I'm just going to use windshield wiper motions, not being too precise or exact
12:35 or anything like that, just making sure to go over it and blend it out really well on
12:41 the top and bottom edges of where I placed the shadow here.
13:05 So next up I'm going to take my ELF smudge pot in Cruisin' Chic, which while this whole
13:15 look is a very warm, much more warm toned look and this is more of a cooler taupey brown,
13:22 for whatever reason I just really like how this ends up looking.
13:27 So I'm going to take the ELF flat eyeliner brush to apply this and I'm just going to
13:33 apply it to the lids of my eye using it as an eye base.
13:37 I've been really liking this so far.
13:39 This was also in one of my, in my recent haul that I will link down below.
13:55 Next for my eyeshadow.
14:25 I'm going to take the ELF C brush and apply the Milani Bella Eyes in Bella Copper, which
14:34 is just an absolutely gorgeous coppery, very warm toned copper shade, very shimmery.
14:52 I usually use a combination of patting the shadow in and like sweeping motions.
14:59 I think that gives you the best color payoff.
15:13 Next I'm going to take my Sigma E40 again to blend my crease and lid color together.
15:28 Next to deepen up the outer V, I'm going to take this darker brown shade here in the,
15:36 in the chocolate bar palette with the one, the pointed side of this dual ended brush
15:42 from Crown.
15:43 And I am just going to take it and carefully place it just on the outside of the outer
15:56 V here.
15:57 And then I'm going to take the E40 again to blend that out.
16:14 Next I am going to line the upper, my upper eyelid with this Jordana 12 hour made to last.
16:21 You guys know it's my favorite.
16:23 But this is the Espresso Last color.
16:28 I didn't want to wing this out because it's super, it's really metallic and shimmery and
16:34 I wanted it to be more of a kind of fresh and fun spring look, not necessarily like
16:38 a super glam going out kind of thing.
16:40 So I was just going to do something really simple with the brown liner and no wing or
16:45 anything like that.
17:02 Now I'm going to take whatever was left of that darker brown color from the Too Faced
17:06 chocolate bar palette that's on this pointed brush and just take it and run it along my
17:12 lower lash line.
17:19 And to set everything I am going to take the Skindinavian makeup finishing spray in the
17:24 oil control formula and shake it up.
17:29 Spray all over my face.
17:35 And for my favorite part I am going to take the Urban Decay perversion mascara and put
17:42 it on my lashes.
18:08 For lips at first I'm going to use the e.l.f. lip lock pencil.
18:13 What this is is a completely clear pencil that I just run around the outer edges of
18:19 my lips and it's just kind of a universal lip liner.
18:33 And then the lip color that I'm going to use to finish off this look is one that I also
18:37 got in my haul video.
18:38 This is the long lasting Kate lipsticks by Rimmel and this is in the color 32 which is
18:46 a beautiful peachy color.
18:56 I forgot to highlight my brow bone.
19:19 I'm going to take this clean color from the Too Faced chocolate bar palette on my essence
19:48 tutorial.
19:49 Thank you so much for watching and I'll see you guys in my next video.
19:52 Bye!
19:53 The next color that I got is Cruisin' Chic which looks like a really pretty taupey color.
19:59 (upbeat music)
