Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan acquitted by Rampur Court in 2019 hate speech case

Former Rampur MLA and Samajwadi Party Leader Azam Khan was acquitted by Rampur Court in the 2019 hate speech case on May 24. “Judgement of the court was in our favour. He was acquitted by the Rampur Court over hate speech,” the advocate of Azam Khan Vinod Sharma told ANI.

Earlier, he was disqualified from the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly after being convicted in the hate speech case of 2019.
