Apple & Broadcom Invest in US Manufacturing

Apple has announced a new partnership with Broadcom to develop 5G radio frequency components in the United States in a multibillion-dollar deal to leverage American manufacturing expertise and innovation. Broadcom, a technology and advanced manufacturing company, will be responsible for creating 5G radio components such as FBAR filters and other wireless connectivity components. The agreement aligns with Apple's commitment to invest $430 billion in the U.S. economy and builds upon a previous partnership where Broadcom sold $15 billion worth of wireless components to Apple. The deal will support critical automation projects and upskilling efforts by investing in engineers and technicians.
