The 2023 Canyons Endurance Runs by UTMB took place in Auburn, California April 28-29, 2023, and was the first UTMB® World Series Americas Major. The event welcomed over 1,900 participants from 15 countries, regions, and territories to the birthplace of mountain ultras and the historic gold-rush town of Auburn, California.

Offering four demanding courses of 100-mile, 100km, 50km, and 25km, elite and passionate runners from around the world were treated to some of the most spectacular racing on the planet through the northern foothills of the Sierra Nevada range, utilizing the most scenic and challenging sections of the iconic Western States Trail, home of the world's oldest 100-mile race.
