Paramedics in New South Wales are refusing to take patients home from hospital as part of their industrial action over wages. Paramedics and health transport drivers with the Hsu are on a 24-hour strike demanding better pay and working conditions. Meanwhile the New South Wales Premier Chris Minns has hit back at accusations his government is not fulfilling its key election promise to remove the public sector wage cap.
