Civil Aviation says that in case of air travel delay, the passengers have the right to demand for benefits as per law. If the flight is delayed by one hour, then drinks etc. can be requested from the concerned airline. In case of flight delay of up to 3 hours, the airline is obliged to provide light meals to the passengers. Whereas if the delay is 6 hours or more, a hotel can be requested from the concerned airline which will also include the transport facility. The civil aviation rules are clear in this respect that if one faces a flight delay and the airline does not grant the passenger any concessions,In this case, one can demand one's right by approaching the Civil Aviation counter at the airport
