The Philippine Coast Guard asserts the country's sovereignty over the West Philippine Sea by installing new navigational buoys in the area.
The move comes amid heightened maritime tensions between Manila and Beijing.
The Coast Guard warns, any deliberate attempt to remove the markers especially by foreign nationals will be dealt with accordingly.
