The words of a whisperer are like delicious morsels;
they go down into the inner parts of the body.
Like the glaze covering an earthen vessel
are fervent lips with an evil heart.
Proverbs 26:22-23 ESV

Words are like seeds that plant themselves in your mind. Whether it's gossip, curses, or doubts, they will always have an effect. Don't believe everything you hear, and stop listening to people who have a pattern of distorting the truth.
