Sameer Wankhede Booked: CBI Files Corruption Case Against Ex-NCB Mumbai Chief Who Arrested Aryan Khan

On May 12, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) registered a corruption case against anti-narcotics officer Sameer Wankhede. He had arrested actor Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan in an alleged drugs-on-cruise case. Sameer Wankhede had allegedly demanded Rs 25 crore bribe. Wankhede arrested Aryan Khan in 2021 when he was the Mumbai zonal chief of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Aryan Khan spent nearly a month in jail.
