Thirty-three members of William Branham's "Message" cult of personality have been arrested in conjunction with the Kenya government's investigation into the "Message" ties to human organ harvesting after the Malindi Cult's Shakahola Forest Massacre. The death toll for the mass-suicide of Branhamite victims has reached 145 and is still climbing while hundreds more are missing.

According to the reports, 16 girls and 12 boys were taken into police custody during the raid of the "home church" of Branhamite deacon David Kariuki. The church was founded by Simpson Mwaura in 2009 and has branches at Ruiru, Ongata Rongai, Nakuru, and Molo. Kariuki was confirmed to be teaching the doctrines of William Branham, and it is also confirmed that all branches of the sect were either strongly influenced by or were teaching Branham's terroristic white supremacy hate speech and doomsday prophecy.

It is worth noting that Branham's cult of personality has many varying sects of the cult, each having different leadership and ideologies — some of which are both destructive and potentially deadly. Branhamite cult leader Ewald Frank, who was recently named by Carlos Basso as having been deeply connected to Colonia Dignidad, a Branhamite compound in Chile producing military-grade arms and sarin gas, was in Kenya recruiting converts to the "Message".

Branhamite cult leader Koucou Philippe, also a disciple of Ewald Frank, teaches a very similar doctrine of fasting to that of the Malindi cult.
